So in-spite of our short comings or problems that occupy our mind, God’s will be done. It’s both reassuring and challenging because how long our suffering will continue is up to us.
In dealing with the issue of ‘how long’, it’s important to not allow judgments especially of ourselves. If we keep in mind that there is only one mind then we can see that all fear is shared. Could it be that ‘night terrors’ come from the one mind? Can we be grateful to the one who is expressing them, for their help in receiving them and then expressing them, which allows reality to dissipate them? Is a bad day one in which you are receiving the world’s anxiety for the purpose of healing? Can we be grateful to those having a ‘bad’ day? I believe what is crucial is to avoid the judgment: “oh,you’re having a bad day, come see me when you are doing better” ! Part of compassion is the gratitude to those who are working in the ‘trenches of fear’ for all of us.
Thanks for your help,
