How did he get there.
He began life you and I ( see Seven Story Mountain, written by Merton in his early adult life about his adolescence. Many of us are still on that mountain top climb wage our battles in this world.
What happens when we reach the sun nit?
For Merton it was about wring and the contemplative life. When we have finished our mountain climbing experiences we will have a good idea of what out part is in God’s plan. We will joyfully spend the rest of our days executing the plan given to our lives.
Climb every mountain!
